GREG DOWIE

The man behind the wheel In 2010, Greg began his motorsport journey under the guidance of multiple title-winning British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) driver Tom Onslow-Cole, who served as his driver coach. With Tom’s extensive experience and success in professional racing, Greg gained valuable insights into high-performance driving and racecraft. In 2012, Greg took his first steps into competitive racing by acquiring a Ford Fiesta XR2 and competing in the Classic Stock Hatch Championship. His debut season presented several challenges, but his determination and skill steadily progressed. By 2014, Greg was making significant strides, achieving a season-best 12th place finish at Cadwell Park. That same year, he was awarded “Driver of the Day” at Snetterton, where—despite starting 34th on the grid due to an engine failure—he delivered an impressive performance by overtaking 19 cars and finishing 15th. Greg continued his development in 2015, making his debut in the K-Tec Renault Clio 182 Series at Brands Hatch. He achieved a respectable 17th place out of 34 entrants in his first race in the series. As of 2022, Greg has signed with RABSport, with plans to compete in the prestigious Britcar Championship, marking the next stage of his racing career.
